The Wildwood Home Owners Association Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Wixom Community Center
The following is an update from you Homeowners Association:
1. Board Members:

Future newsletters, minutes from Board Meetings and any other pertinent information regarding our neighborhood will be posted on the website. Tom Cho has offered to maintain our website along with Lisa White who has also graciously offered her time to maintain our facebook page. Her email address is lisawhite56@yahoo.com. 3. Rules and Regulations:
If you know of an existing issue or you feel something is occurring outside of the Association guidelines, please feel free to contact me @ 248-926-2580 or email me @ (allenbaybay@sbcglobal.net) and I will review the concern with the Board. Once the concern has been reviewed and the Board feels action is required then the Board will act accordingly. If you need a copy of the Deeds and Restrictions please contact me and I will forward one to you.
4. Home Improvements:
Please keep in mind that many home improvements such as decks and driveway additions need Association approval to complete. Please refer to the Covenants and Restrictions (“Deed Restrictions”) for further information. The process for getting Association approval is as follows:
1. Obtain permits from the City of Wixom by submitting your plans for the improvement.
2. Submit plans to the Wildwood Homeowners Association for approval.
3. Once approval has been given, you may begin with the improvement.
5. General Rules:
1. Please keep your speeds down. The speed limit is 25mph.
2. Please clean your dog waste in the common areas as well as around the sidewalks and your homeowner’s yards. We have had several complaints that people are not picking up after their dogs.
3. Trash can be placed curbside 24 hours prior to pickup. This usually means you can put out the trash on Tuesdays. On windy days please wait as long as possible to minimize the amount of trash blown throughout our neighborhood.
4. School is back in session and bus routes have changed. Please be aware of children crossing the street.
5. It is becoming darker earlier, please be courteous and leave your porch and/or garage lights on for those children who have to wait for the bus near your home.
6. Social Committee:
Lisa White and Courtney Parker have set up a social committee for the Wildwood Subdivision. You should have received a calendar in your mailbox a while back showing all the events they have planned. A copy of this calendar is also attached to the back of this newsletter. The first event is Snowman Challenge on Saturday, February 5, 2011. To contact Lisa or Courtney about ideas please email them at lisawhite56@yahoo.com or courtneyp96@hotmail.com. Hopefully we will get great participation in all the wonderful events they have planned.
7. 2011 Wildwood Sub Golf League: From Homeowner Tom Cho
Wildwood golfers are you interested in playing in a golf league next year with some of your neighbors!
This will be a fun league for anyone interested in playing. The basic format will be 12 to 16 weeks (we can determine this later) of playing 9 holes after 5:30pm. A championship round of 18 holes will be played (on a weekend) at the end of the season to determine an individual winner. Handicaps will be used to determine the champion so even if you’re a high handicapper (like me) you still can be the Wildwood golf league champion and take home a trophy.
We will need both full and part time players. Full time players will need to commit to the full season (12 to 16 weeks, you can decide if you want to play in the championship round later). Part time players can play week to week assuming there is a spot open (part time players will fill in for full time players).
The league will take place at a nearby course like Hickory Hills (off Loon Lake Rd.) or Links of Novi (10 mile and Wixom Rd.)
You don’t have to commit to playing now but I want to get a rough idea of how many people would be interested in playing next season. I will send out the final details in early spring (March) for a May start.
If you are interested in playing as a full or part time member in the Wildwood Golf League next year please send me (Tom Cho) an email at gatechcho@gmail.com Let me know if you want to be a full or part time member in the message.
I hope to make this an annual activity if there is interest. 2010 golf season is coming to an end but let’s look forward to next season.
